With Memorial Day coming on May 28, I often find myself thinking about our military members and the sacrifices they make on a daily basis. Many in my family have served and I have friends still serving our country. Thank you for your service. I also know I am not the only one thinking of our troops. Fellow outdoor blogger and owner of Starr & Bodill African Safaris, Britney Starr, contacted me regarding a wounded warrior safari that will be taking place from August 25-September 3, 2012.
The United Special Sportsman Alliance in conjunction with the Lake Superior Safari Club International and S&B are all collaborating to put this hunt together. S&B is providing the wounded warrior and his brother a ten day all inclusive safari in the East Cape of South Africa. Nick will be hunting kudu, blesbok, warthog, blue wildebeest, and impala.
The USSA is a 501(c)(3) organization and all donations will receive a receipt for tax deductions.
