The NSSF SHOT Show 2026 is so close you can almost smell the gunpowder and hand sanitizer. It’s amping to be a great show and I’m already predicting it’s going to be the year of the suppressor. With so many new companies, no tax stamp, and 3D printers I anticipate much discussion to be about cans. There are great new options being released for multiple calibers and I’m eager for the fun to start!
I’m eagerly anticipating and excited to see my friends and meet up with some industry folks who’ve encouraged me to write, share ideas and spend more time in the field. I’m excited to get my hands on a few items at Industry Day at the Range and also on the SHOT Show floor. Interviews and meetings will fill most of the time, but I also have about 1,000 other vendors I want to talk to in just a couple short days. Yeah, IYKYK. I’m thrilled to visit the Archery Pavilion and check out the New Product Center.

The list continues to grow, but it’s not my first rodeo. I know my limitations and have a plan. I’ve packed my comfy shoes, Vitamin C, zinc, immuno support, and business cards. I’m bringing a powerhouse team of knowledge and skill. With some yoga, coffee and a smile, the days should kick off to be fulfilling and prosperous.
