It’s now February and I am thinking it is time for a new bow. I’m not one of the guys who has to have a new bow each year, but I am eager to try out some of the new technology that is being offered. Plus, a new bow to me can be a year or two old. I have shot bows from many different manufacturers over the years because I like variety. Now I am in a holding pattern because I really like a few of the bows I am seeing for 2020. Just to name a few are the 2020 Mathews VXR, the 2019 Obsession Lawless or FXL, and the 2020 Bowtech Realm SR6. That’s just scratching the surface of what is out there and I am intrigued. I have one pro-shop close by that I plan on checking out this weekend for a couple of different bows. Hopefully, they will have a couple set up so I can take them for a test run.
Let me ask you all, what bows do you recommend for 2020 and why? I know a few of you are shooting some of the bows I have mentioned and I’d like to know why YOU like them. I’ve got a hog hunt coming up in April and I need to set up a new bow at the end of February so I can sight it in and get familiar.
