Bear Hunting Seminar at Bass Pro Shops
Gearing up for this years archery bear season has been fun and exciting. Research and plenty of practice at the range has me chomping at the bit. I have been talking with my friend Eric Welsh over at DIYbowhunter.com and started talking about where to hunt this year. We plan on doing some scouting in a couple areas this weekend. I hope to get some video of our trip to share with everyone.

This Boy Scout is a preparedness and gear nut. I have my tag and just about everything else to go hunting. I say almost everything because there’s always something out there I want. One of the things I can never get enough of is knowledge. Knowledge on gear, knowledge of the areas to hunt and knowledge on the animal I am hunting. That’s why I am scouring blogs, emailing friends or calling guys like Eric and picking their brains. I have yet to kill a black bear with any weapon and I really want to do it with my archery gear. I will get plenty of information on July 31 at the Bass Pro Shops in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Team DIY will be putting on a bear hunting seminar that is free of charge. You read that right – FREE! We want to promote DIYbowhunter.com, but also we feel there is a need to share information in our hunting community. Eric is leading the seminar and will be covering topics like scouting, optics, gear and more. We will have some great giveaway items, too! See you guys and girls out there.
